The sweetest part about their story is that Phil and Heather are high school sweethearts. I remember when they first started dating, and how excited Phil was to finally get to call Heather his girlfriend. Phil grew up down the street from me and our families have always been very close, so watching their relationship from afar has been so sweet. Getting to see it all come to fruition on their wedding day was so special. What was even sweeter than doing their florals was getting to attend their wedding! This will always be a favorite of mine.
My experience in getting to work with Heather was a complete joy! Through the entire planning process, she continually expressed her trust and confidence in me. She communicated to me several times throughout our meetings, "I trust you, as you are the expert!" Aside from color palette and a few favorite flowers, she entrusted me to use my creativity and expertise to create a beautiful product for her. Having this kind of trust and confidence from a bride is what enables me to do my best work and truly is the best gift a bride can give to her florist. Thank you Heather! It was a privilege to be a part of your special day in this way.
